Our Mission

Uppsala International School aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Our Vision

We are committed to the belief that every student is a Very Important Person; and the quality of every student’s present and future can be greatly enhanced by the quality of his or her education. We inspire students to be lifelong learners who contribute positively to a diverse and changing world.

Our Values

Building on our school values, we developed the UIS Character Profile. The UIS Character Profile (below) defines 10 attributes that we believe are truly important for a UIS student to develop at the school.
