At Uppsala International School we offer four Academic Options / Pathways. Our qualifications all are well-established, well-recognised and highly valued by schools, universities, and employers.
IBDP programs promote the education of the whole person, emphasising intellectual, personal, emotional and social growth through all domains of knowledge.
For those students who wish to focus on a specific career and study pathway, the IBCP (International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme) is a professionally focused, university-recognised programme.
This pathway offers students an opportunity to specialise in four subjects at Post-16. Students choose A-level because they are already clear about the tertiary pathway they wish to follow.
BTEC stands for the Business and Technology Education Council; they are specialist work-related qualifications, combining practical learning with subject and theory content.
All pathways are delivered through a combination of traditional face-to-face classes and blended learning options, combining the best of academic and digitally enhanced learning, leading directly to university or high-end employment.
